My holy Self abides in you, Son of God.
1. Father,
You have given all Your Sons to me, that they may be my saviors and my guides to sight; they are the bearers of Your holy Voice to me.
²In them You are reflected,
and in them does Christ behold me from within my Self.
³Let not Your Son forget Your Holy Name.
⁴Let not Your Son forget his holy Source.
⁵Let not Your Son forget that his Name is Yours.
2. On this day we enter Paradise I by calling on the Name of God and on our own, acknowledging our Self in one another and joined in God’s holy Love.II
²How many saviors has God given us! III
³How can we lose the way to Him, when He has filled the world with those who point to Him, and given us the eyes to see them?
I Luke 23:43 “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
II Workbook Lesson 183 “I call upon God’s Name and on my own.”
III Your brothers are not bodies competing with you for the resources of this world. Your brothers are opportunities—mirrors in which you can recognize what you are, bridges through which you can reach yourself.
You do not know how to love yourself; you do not know how to give yourself love. But you can receive it through your brothers. They are channels through which the Love of God flows to you, and at the same time they wait for you to offer it so that together you may remember it. To give and to receive are the same: when you give love, teaching, or peace, in that very instant you are already receiving it.
That is why your brothers are your saviors. To look upon their light is the surest way not to err about yourself. As you behold the Love of God in them, your vision is purified and your mind becomes clear. When you try to see your own light directly, the ego may interfere and claim that experience for itself. But when you see Christ in your brother, no error is possible.
Each encounter, then, is a sacred opportunity—to recognize that you are not separate, that you compete with no one, and that the path back to God is filled with companions who remind you of what you are.
Father, help me today to see my brothers as my saviors, and as I behold Your light in them, may I remember my own.
