My vision seeks the Face of Christ.
1. I ask You to bless my vision today.
²It is the way You have chosen as the means to show me my mistakes
and to look beyond them.
³It has been granted me to find a new perception through the Guide You gave to me.
⁴And through His lessons I can rise above perception and return to truth.
⁵I ask for that illusion which transcends all those I made.
⁶Today I choose to see a forgiven world,I
in which everything I look upon shows me the Face of Christ,
teaches me that what I behold belongs to me,
and that nothing is real
except Your holy Son.
2. Today our sight is truly blessed.
²We share one vision as we look upon the Face of Him Who is our Self.
³We are one because of Him Who is the Son of God,
⁴He Who is our very Identity.
I My perception always obeys my will, for it is its effect: my will is the cause of everything I see. And my will is holy, because I am the Love of God, the Knowledge of God, and the Will of God. That is the Truth, and that is the Reality of Creation.
Yet the fragmented mind of God’s sleeping Son perceives only fantasies—dreams tinged with fear, guilt, and separation that seem real until I awaken and recognize that I never slept. Today I choose to dream that I have already awakened, and that my dreams reflect the Truth: an innocent, forgiven world, seen through the eyes of Christ.
This is the function of the Holy Spirit in my mind—to reinterpret each of my perceptions and restore to me true vision. When I surrender my way of seeing and ask for His help, my sight becomes the path He has chosen to show me my errors and lead me beyond them. Thus, little by little, every situation is transformed into an opportunity for healing, and every encounter into a reminder of the light of Christ.
The real world is that blessed reflection that arises when I withdraw my judgments and allow the Holy Spirit to show me another way of looking. It is neither abstract nor unreachable; it begins in the concrete, when I decide to see a relationship, a difficulty, or a fear differently, and then wait in silence for the new interpretation. Each time I do this, my mind is trained toward true vision until it finally acquires the habit of seeing automatically with the clarity of the Holy Spirit.
My vision, then, seeks the face of Christ. And each time I choose to forgive and to look with love, that blessed vision becomes my own.
Father, bless my vision today.
May I, as I behold my brother, see Your face and remember that my will is one with Yours.
