God is only Love, therefore, that is what I am.
I I am happy, but I want more. I want it all. Here it is stated plainly: life is not plural, not variable, not personal. There is only one life, and it is divine. It neither begins nor ends, neither improves nor is lost. It is not in the body, does not pass through stages, does not respond to time. And if you believe otherwise, it is because you are confusing images with reality.
Jesus does not ask you to understand it, but to acknowledge it. To share life with God means to be in communion with what does not change. It means that every idea of a separate, vulnerable, or perishable identity is a denial of that life. And that denial has consequences, for it produces a perception that is fragmented, fragile, and fearful. Yet it remains only that—a denial.
II And the second part is very precise: “Your Grace is given me. I claim it now.” It does not say that it will be granted to you if you do what is right, nor that you must wait for it as a reward. Grace has already been given to you. All that remains is to claim it. That does not mean to demand it, nor to manipulate emotions in order to feel it. To claim Grace is to stop placing conditions on accepting it.
This lesson does not require effort, but honesty. If you do not experience Grace, it is because you still believe there is something more desirable than it. But when you see clearly that there is not, the act of claiming it becomes as natural as breathing. There is no need to seek it—only to stop denying what is already yours.
