The freedom of Creation guarantees my own.
1. The end of dreams has been promised me, for the Father’s Love has never left His Son.
²Only in his dreams does the Son appear to be imprisoned, waiting for a freedom that might come in time.I
³But in truth, his dreams have vanished, and Truth has taken their place.
⁴And now, freedom is already his.
⁵Why should I remain in chains, still waiting for my freedom, when I have already been released and God is offering it to me now?
2. Father,
²today I will accept Your promises
and place my faith in them.
³My Father loves the Son He created like Himself.
⁴How could You deny me the gifts You have already given me?
I The world is an illusion, and the bodies of your brothers are illusions as well. Yet do not distrust them, nor the world. They are neutral in themselves. The only thing you must distrust is your interpretations, for even the most “holy” of them seek to deceive you, since they arise from the mind that believes itself separate.
Watch your mind with calmness. Do not fear its ceaseless chatter, nor be disturbed by the doubts it produces. Forgive that senseless thinking that besieges you, and grant it not the slightest importance. It has none. It is nothing. Merely mental noise. And like all that lacks reality, it will eventually cease. Peace is inevitable for a mind that knows how to forgive.
You are not asked for much—only that you not be deceived… by yourself.
The lesson proclaims: “The freedom of creation guarantees my own.” Freedom is neither future nor conditional; it is an accomplished fact. Only in dreams do I seem to be chained, awaiting release. But in reality, dreams have vanished, and freedom is already mine.
Then why do I keep waiting, as though there were still chains to break, when God offers me freedom right now? This is the central question. The difficulty lies not in truth, but in my resistance to accepting it. The ego fears freedom, for its life depends on keeping alive the illusion of bondage.
Yet the practice is simple. Before every thought that robs me of peace, I have the power to release it instantly. Freedom requires no time; it happens now, in this very moment, when I refuse to give reality to what torments me. Perhaps I cannot yet accept absolute and final freedom, but I can experience freedom from each thought that oppresses me. And that specific practice, repeated over and over again, leads me to total freedom.
The only requirement is not to set conditions nor decide how liberation must occur. Only to ask for it and to want it now. The how belongs to God, and in His love it always unfolds in the most kind and perfect way.
Father, today I accept Your promise of freedom.
May I wait no longer, nor bind myself with thoughts that wound me.
Teach me to release my ideas and to trust that Your love frees me now.
Amen.
