LESSON 112

Morning and Evening Review: W-93 and W-94

1. W-93 “Light and joy and peace abide in me.” I

²I am the dwelling place of light, of joy, and of peace.

³I welcome them into the home I share with God,

because I am a part of Him.

2. W-94 “I am as God created me.” II

²I will remain forever as I was created by the Changeless,

in His likeness.

3And I am one with Him and He with me.

3. On the hour: III

²“Light and joy and peace abide in me.”

4. On the half hour:

²“I am as God created me.”

I If this statement seems somewhat excessive to you and you feel uncomfortable saying it, it is because you recognize that, at least for now, that is not the case. Formulate it slightly differently and say:

“It is my will to acknowledge that light, joy, and peace dwell in me, although I know that is not what I now feel and believe; yet surely that is what I want to see in myself.”

You have reason to be happy, for you are still exactly as you were when God created you. Nothing has changed in you since then: you remain absolutely perfect, the holy Son of God.

II What has happened is that a very strange idea has gotten into your head, and you don’t know how to get rid of it. You think you are a human being—which you don’t even know exactly what that means—and that you are in a place called the world. The situation is rather uncomfortable. You feel chills when you think about it, and that’s normal, because everything here is very strange. You vaguely remember your former condition, because you spend your life trying to recover it, only through the things you find around here. And of course, that doesn’t work very well.

In any case, and for as long as this strange dream lasts, it is good for you to remind yourself constantly of the truth. Each time you do, your heart will rejoice, and you will behave more sensibly. So do not forget: light, joy, and peace truly dwell in you because you are still as God created you.

III Again: today, too, try to keep to these reminders.
